General Terms and Conditions

The following General Terms and Conditions of Business apply when tickets for Bayer Arts & Culture events are ordered or purchased via Kölnticket. The personal data of ticket purchasers will be collected, processed and used in an automated procedure in compliance with data protection law to the extent necessary for the performance of the contract. Bayer Arts & Culture reserves the right to make changes to the program, dates, venue, cast and prices.

Purchase of Individual Tickets

According to § 312b para. 3 no. 6 BGB (German Civil Code), the provisions on distance contracts do not apply to contracts for services in the field of leisure activities. The ticket purchaser is therefore not entitled to a two-week right of cancellation.

Discounts on Single Tickets

Trainees and students over 18 years of age will receive tickets for all events outside the youth programme at a price of 5 € until they reach the age of 26. Students, people doing voluntary military service and people doing federal voluntary service up to 27 years of age, severely disabled people (60% and over) and holders of the "Leverkusen for All" ID card generally receive a 50% discount on individual tickets. Holders of reduced-price tickets are obliged to show their ID at the entrance without being asked.

Cloakroom (Erholungshaus)

Coats, umbrellas, large bags and similar bulky items may not be taken into the auditorium and must be left at the cloakroom. The cloakroom service is included in the ticket price. The visitor will receive a cloakroom ticket for this service. Valuables will not be kept in the cloakroom. Upon presentation of the cloakroom ticket, the staff is entitled to hand over the cloakroom items to the owner of the ticket without checking the entitlement. Bayer is only liable for loss of or damage to stored cloakroom items to the extent that the cloakroom personnel have violated their storage obligations intentionally or through gross negligence. Claims for loss of or damage to stored items are limited to an amount of € 1,500.00. Claims for compensation due to the loss of the contents of coats or bags etc. are limited to the amount of € 100.00 at the most. Damage to or loss of the cloakroom must be reported to the cloakroom personnel immediately and claims must be made in writing within 14 days of the performance. Later notifications are not possible.

Cloakroom at other venues

In certain circumstances, the price and conditions for the cloakroom service at other venues is not included in the ticket price. Please consult the websites of the individual venues for further information.

Admission

Admission to our events is only possible with a valid ticket. The presentation of an order confirmation or an invoice is not sufficient for this purpose.

Changes to dates and programs and information about additional events will also be published on www.kultur.bayer.de or shop.derticketservice.de/bayer-kultur. Last-minute changes will be published in the daily press and on kultur.bayer.de. We will notify our customers in writing only in exceptional cases.

Late entry / late admission

Late admission is only possible during a break in the performance or during applause.

Photography, Image and Sound Recordings

Photography with or without flash as well as any kind of sound or film recording is not permitted during concerts, theatre performances and events. Please make sure that mobile phones etc. are switched off.
